Prenatal Yoga increases the strength, flexibility, and endurance of the muscles needed to help prepare an expectant mothers’ body for child birth. Prenatal Yoga will also help to develop proper breathing and relaxation techniques that ease the mind and create a more comfortable labor. Each Class will end with restorative poses and meditation to nurture mind, body, and baby. This helps to reduce stress and promote relaxation for the expectant mother.
Classes will include variations of poses that encourage expectant mothers to move efficiently to accommodate their evolving body helping with pain management and discomfort often experienced during pregnancy. Classes also provide a strategy-based approach that preserves and optimizes their core and pelvic health through pregnancy and beyond. These classes are good for ALL levels.
