Join O’Fallon Parks and Rec for the First Annual Krewe du Chaussure Shoe Box Mardi Gras Parade Float Competition! Participants are invited to unleash their creativity by crafting a Mardi Gras-themed float using a shoe box as the base. The competition allows for unlimited imagination, with entries reflecting the spirit of Mardi Gras through vibrant colors, unique designs, and festive decorations. The entry fee is just $15 per participant, and each float will be showcased in the parade, giving everyone the chance to see your creation come to life.
Submissions will start on February 17th. The parade and judging will take place on February 20th at 6:30pm. Prizes will be awarded to the top three entries, with first, second, and third place winners taking home exciting rewards. This is a fantastic opportunity for both young and adult artists to showcase their talents while celebrating the festive Mardi Gras season. Sign up today and be part of this fun and creative event!
