Styx Spring Lacrosse

Welcome to Styx Lacrosse! All skill levels are welcome to register for Styx Teams. No prior lacrosse experience required.

Teams: We will offer the following ages: (we follow USA Lacrosse 15-month age limits, see age chart).

Girls Teams: 12U and 14U

Boys Teams: 12U and 14U

Pricing: (see below). All lacrosse equipment is available to borrow for the season and is included at no extra cost. The $35 USA Membership is also included as they are required to play in the league games. Game jerseys or pinnies will cost extra is you do not already have one from a previous year. They can be purchased for $20 at gear pick up.

Scholarships (need base) available through Parks and Rec. Contact Peral Bates at the Parks and Rec office for information.

The spring season will consist of 10 weeks of practices (2 per week), along with 7 weeks of games (2 on the same day, on either a Saturday or Sunday).

Practices: Tuesday and Thursday nights starting March 11th through May 15th. Times vary depending on age but will be approximately 5:30pm – 7pm at the STYX lacrosse fields at 285 N. Seven Hills Rd. O’Fallon.

Games: The league determines game days based on number of teams and field space. Game days are subject to change. Currently 12U and 14U Boys, and 12U girls teams play on Saturdays starting March 29th through May 17th. No games on Easter Weekend (April 19-20).

Game Location: Chesterfield Valley Athletic Complex. 17925 N. Outer 40 Rd. Chesterfield, MO 63005.

Additional Information: Participants will need to provide their own shoes/cleats (football or soccer style) and mouth guard. Boys will also need to wear a protective cup.

No refunds are given if you decide to remove your team after the posted deadline. If a team is not able to make the required minimum to create a team a full refund will be given even after the due date. If multiple teams per age group are formed, players will be assigned to teams-based skill level, determined by coaches, for the safety of all players.

Registration Deadline: March 18th @11:59pm for 14U Girls. March 18th at 11:59pm for 12U Girls. Boys leagues are full.

14U Girls will be on waitlist status. If enough register for the waitlist, we will create a team and take payment at a later date. If not, there is no charge to be on the waitlist and the league may not run.

Mandatory Parent Meeting/Gear pass out will be with First Practice: March 11th: 5:30pm at the STYX lacrosse fields, 285 N. Seven Hills Road. O’Fallon, IL. Players will be fitted for gear and then sent to their coaches to start practice, while parents meet with the director to discuss season info and answer questions.
