General Information & Insurance Policies

Pavilion reservation fees must be paid in full at the time of the reservation. Pavilions are available for use between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. A full refund will be made if a reservation is canceled at least 14 days (two weeks) prior to the reservation date. In the event that the weather causes the cancellation of a planned event, the reservation may be rescheduled to any other open date at no additional charge. If no other date is available, or acceptable, a refund of fifty percent (50%) of the pavilion reservation fee will be made.  All refunds will be a credit on account.

General Information & Insurance Policies

  • The open fire pit is available by permit only and the permit  holder must have the permit available for inspection, if necessary.
  • Permit holders are responsible for supplying their own firewood.
  • No cutting of logs or branches is permitted in the Park.
  • Fire is only permitted within the established fire ring. No other fire rings/pits shall be established.
  • The fire shall remain under control and no large bonfires are permitted.
  • Only wood or charcoal is to be burned. No metal, plastic or other debris may be burned.
  • Fires are prohibited in gusty or strong wind conditions.
  • The permit holder is responsible for ensuring the fire is extinguished and the pit is secured at the end of the visit.

O’Fallon Dog Park

Welcome to the O’Fallon Dog Park, Off Leash Area!

General Information & Insurance Policies

Please adhere to the following rules and help to keep your pet area clean, attractive and fun for all!

  • Park hours are Sunrise to Sunset.
  • Maintenance shall be performed each Friday morning, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and visitors may be asked to leave the area at that time to allow mowing of the turf in a safe manner.
  • All dogs must wear their current license tag and be up to date on its shots.
  • No dogs under 4 months of age will be allowed in the area.
  • All dogs outside of the off-leash area must remain on the leash at all times.
  • Dogs should be under control of their handler and in view of their handler at all times.
  •  Handlers are  responsible for any injuries caused by the dogs under their control.
  • Handlers shall have no more than 2 dogs present per visit.
  • Be considerate of others: pick up dog feces and dispose of in the nearby trash receptacles promptly.
  • Cover any holes that your dog may dig.
  • Female dogs in heat shall not be brought to the dog park.
  • Refrain from bringing food or rawhide into the area, as it may cause dogs to fight or become aggressive. Training treats will be allowed.
  • Aggressive dogs will not be tolerated and will be asked to leave the area immediately.
  • Choke collars and spike collars are not permitted.
  • For safety reasons, children must be at least ten years of age to use the park and they must be closely supervised.
  • Users of this facility do so at their own risk.  The City of O’Fallon shall not be held responsible for any injury or damage caused by any dog in the Off Leash Area.

Rock Springs Rotary Park Rules

  • Solicitation or sale of items is not permitted without specific authorization from the city.
  • Parking is permitted only in parking lots or other designated areas. No vehicles are permitted on grass or rock areas unless authorized.
  • General park rules and applicable city ordinances are posted on signs throughout the Parks. Violation of these rules or city ordinances will cause denial of future use.
  • No open fires. Barbeque pits are available throughout the Parks
  • No glass containers of any kind, no dogs or cats (except Rock Springs) allowed, no beer trucks or beer trailers are allowed, and all trash must be picked up before leaving, trash containers are available throughout the Parks.
