All events are to be concluded and clean up competed by closing time (Renters must clear the facility one hour prior to contract end time).   Set Up and Clean Up must be done only during the time the facility has been reserved.

Early set up or late clean up will not be permitted without additional rental fees.

Set up and clean up – All set up and clean up is to be done by groups using the facility.  Clean up equipment will be made available in the janitorial room next to restroom.  Failure to properly clean the building will result in forfeiture of rental deposit and denial of future reservations.  All trash is to be bagged, tied, and removed from the building and placed in receptacles located in the parking lot.

CHAIRS AND TABLES MUST BE PLACED BACK NEATLY  AND CORRECTLY IN THE CUPBOARDS.

The City of O’Fallon Parks & Recreation Department will not be liable for any claims for injury to damages resulting from or arising out of the Facilities premises and the permit holder agrees to indemnify the City of O’Fallon Parks & Recreation Department and hold it harmless against any and all such Claims, damages, losses, or expenses.

General Conditions

A)  All Park & Recreation facilities are smoke free.

B)  No equipment installation or building modifications are to be made unless approved in advance by the Director of Parks and Recreation.

C)  Decorations used in the building are to be as fireproof as possible. Decorations to be attached to the building are to be approved by the building supervisor. Decorations are to be removed by the end of the event.

D)  The facility is not equipped for cooking; but, prepared food may be brought into the building for serving, provided all food and catering equipment is removed at the end of the event/activity.

E)   Activities/events are to be carried on inside the building only and are not to expand to adjoining parking areas in a manner as to disturb neighbors.

F)   No candles or other inflammable materials shall be used, except for food warming equipment brought by caterers.

This includes centerpieces.

G)  The set up of chairs and tables is the responsibility of the group utilizing the facilities. The group is also responsible for the return of the tables and chairs to their original storage locations in good order.

H)  All activities/ events shall be properly controlled and supervised whenever persons participating in the activity are less than 18 years of age.  Teen parties need to be approved by the Parks and Recreation Director.  If approved a minimum of

1 adult  representative per 10 youth must be present (the hiring of a building attendant will be determined by the Parks Staff.

In the event of the Police being called for a disturbance inside or outside of the facility O’Fallon Parks and Recreation will hold all or partial amount of the security deposit.  Teen parties will be vetted by invitation only, which needs to be vetted by the Parks staff.

I) It is agreed that the person and /or organization making the reservation will be held responsible for ensuring the facilities rules and regulations are complied with.

J) O’Fallon Parks and recreation do not recommend bringing valuables to the facilities,  any valuables that are brought into the facilities are done so at the renters own risk .  O’Fallon Parks and Recreation will not be responsible for any valuables lost or stolen.

We will close for the 2022 summer season September 6th!

The Memorial Pool opens Memorial Day weekend (May 28th, 2022). The last day the pool will be open for the 2022 season is Monday, September 5th (Labor Day). The facility contains 2 recreational pools. Our main pool is a 25 Meter lap pool with connected diving well and shallow water entry. Pool depth 2’8″-10’8″. Our wading pool is “shell” shaped with rainfall fountain at center. Pool is reserved for toddlers, infants, and parents. Pool depth 0″-1’10”. The Memorial Pool also contains a concession area and stand that provides a variety of popular snacks and beverages. Stop by and have a relaxing day at the Memorial Pool!

The O’Fallon Family Sports Park Splash Pad is a two-acre play area comprised of non-traditional play ground structures and a 6,000 square foot splash pad.

The Splash Pad is located within the 200-acre O’Fallon Family Sports Park at 300 Obernuefemann Road, and is open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, Monday through Sunday.

The venue can also be rented out for birthday and private parties, seven days a week.

SPLASH PAD RULES

  • The Splash Pad is unsupervised.
  • All children must have adult supervision at all times.
  • Children under the age of 10 should be accompanied by an adult.
  • All participants must conduct themselves in a courteous, safe and family manner.
  • Food and glass containers are not permitted on Splash Pad.
  • Climbing on Splash Pad features is strictly prohibited.
  • No pets allowed on Splash Pad or in Park.
  • “Still working on potty training?” Please remember swim diapers.
  • Roughhousing or violent play is prohibited.
  • Be mindful of inclement weather. Remember, “Lightning Kills!” Splash pad may be closed at any time due to weather conditions, excessive wind, etc.
  • Splash Pad should be vacated at first sound of thunder.
  • Street shoes are prohibited in the Splash Pad. Sandals, Flip Flops or appropriate deck wear is recommended.
  • No wading or throwing rocks in the stream area.
  • Splash Pad may be closed at any time due to maintenance or other operational concerns.
  • Groups of 10 or more must have a permit obtained through the Parks and Recreation Office, 618-624-0139.
  • No Smoking

 FIRE PIT RULES

  • The open fire pit is available by permit only and the permit  holder must have the permit available for inspection, if necessary.
  • Permit holder is responsible for supplying their own firewood.
  • No cutting of logs or branches is permitted in the Park.
  • Fire is only permitted within the established fire ring. No other fire rings/pits shall be established.
  • The fire shall remain under control and no large ‘bonfires” are permitted.
  • Only wood or charcoal is to be burned. No metal, plastic or other debris may be burned.
  • Fires are prohibited in gusty or strong wind conditions.
  • Permit holder is responsible for ensuring the fire is extinguished and the pit is secured at the end of the visit.

Your caterer, DJ, decoration committee or any  other outside service must  arrive during your rental time.  Early set up will not be permitted without additional rental fees.
  • The booking party is completely responsible for all set up and breakdown, including stacking of tables and chairs correctly and putting them away after the event. Take Down service is available upon a 14 day notice.  Foods providers (caters) are still required to bag and remove trash into dumpsters as well as clean table tops.
  • Clean-up equipment will be made available in the utility room. Failure to properly clean the building will result in forfeiture of rental deposit and denial of future reservations.
  • The booking party is solely responsible for any and all accidents or injuries to persons or property resulting from the use of the facility. The Booking party is responsible for the control and supervision of all people in attendance of their event.  The  booking party shall take care that no damage is done to the facility and that all of the attendees conduct themselves in an   orderly manner in and around the facility including the surrounding park areas and parking lot.  If damages or behavior of the group are deemed inappropriate or unsafe for any reason, the function may be stopped in progress and denied further use of the facility.  In addition, if it becomes necessary during the course of the function to summon the police for any reason, all or part of the security deposit will be forfeited
  • Activities/events are to be carried on inside the building only and are not to expand to adjoining parking areas in a manner as to disturb neighbors. MUSIC ONLY BETWEEN HOURS OF 7AM – 10PM NO EXCEPTIONS – FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN 100% FORFEITURE OF YOUR DEPOSIT.
